Do you consider yourself a ‘runner’? If the answer is no, let me offer a different perspective.

We often dismiss our abilities, believing we’re not ‘good enough’ or don’t fit the conventional mold of a runner. But the truth is, we all have untapped potential.

My story is not about reaching a peak; it’s about setting goals, striving, and sometimes even surpassing them. Whether it’s a sprint or a marathon, any pace, any place – you’re capable.

In the following pages, I share my journey. While our paths may differ, I hope you’ll find pieces of my story that inspire you. They might just give you that extra lift and confidence as you take your mark at the starting line.

Scoliosis, a spinal curve, usually hidden within, was my shadow. It’s more prevalent in girls and often comes without reason.

As a child, my coordination was comical at best. Late to walk and lacking any hint of athletic prowess, I was far from a prodigy. A visit to the doctor’s revealed a spine curved like a snake to a daunting 65 degrees off course.

HRH Princess Eugenie and Usain Bolt, both with scoliosis, became beacons of hope for me. If royalty and world champions could thrive, perhaps I could too.
